Empowering older lives — dignity, wellbeing and inclusion.

DPI is a French non-profit association based in Reims (Grand Est). Our mission is to advocate for the rights and wellbeing of older people, and to support seniors who are isolated or vulnerable — through presence, collective activities, action against vulnerability, and public awareness.

Our mission

DPI advocates for the rights and wellbeing of older people and supports seniors who are isolated or vulnerable. We fight isolation through presence, collective activities, action against vulnerability and public awareness — so that every elder keeps their dignity and remains part of the world around them.

Our mission

Ageing well — with dignity and surrounded by others

We believe presence, social connection and access to information are the pillars of dignified ageing. That is why DPI acts on several complementary fronts.

Providing presence

Talking with our elders and listening to them, to restore the bond with others when no one else is there — regular visits and trusted, lasting support.

Who we are

A grass-roots association rooted in Reims

DPI is a non-profit association governed by the French law of 1 July 1901, registered with the French authorities under identifier W513001115. Our head office is at 71 Rue des Moissons, 51100 Reims. We work alongside volunteers, families and partners to meet the concrete needs of older people.

Our belief is simple: an isolated older person is a person in distress, and that situation is unacceptable. We put the dignity of the elder at the heart of our work, never forgetting the most vulnerable — those who live alone, in fragile health, or far from the information they need.

  • Presence and a listening ear to break isolation
